Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization
DNS was developed in Prague by a physical therapist and is built upon the foundation of human movements which are established during the first critical years of life. During those years the nervous system establishes programs that control posture, movement, and gait. DNS utilizes the "neurodevelopmental aspects of motor control to assess and restore dysfunction to the locomotor system," as stated on the DNS website.
Dr. Lauren prefers to incorporate this technique into new patient's first few visits to help them establish restored function and dynamics in addition to chiropractic adjustments.
